Display Type-
There are two main types of LCD displays found on today's notebook computers:
Passive Matrix and Active Matrix, also known as TFT.
Passive Matrix (also known as DSTN or HPA) screens are most often found
on less expensive notebook computers. Because of their narrow viewing
angle, lesser brightness, and lesser detail, computers with these screens
are best suited for straight-on
viewing and shorter work times.
