and I don't think there is a scientific definition for it.
tranditionally, a lense with a focal length close to the
diagonal length of the film is considered "normal". for
35mm cameras, it's about 40-55mm. lenses with a focal
length shorter than this is considered "wide angle". but
some people may still consider 35mm to be normal. |
