Each day, about 1,000 U.S. citizens require emergency care treatment for dog
bite injury.1 The following studies examine injury occurrence and the dog
breeds most likely to bite.

September 1982 to December 31, 2012
By compiling U.S. and Canadian press accounts between 1982 and 2012, Merritt
Clifton, editor of Animal People, shows the breeds most responsible for
serious injury and death.
The combination of large molosser breeds, including pit bulls, rottweilers,
presa canarios, cane corsos, mastiffs, dogo argentinos, fila brasieros, and
their mixes:
79% of attacks that induce bodily harm
72% of attacks to children
85% of attack to adults
69% of attacks that result in fatalities
77% that result in maiming
贵阳新闻网 消息 27日早晨，遵义城区一位老人上山晨练时，被路边两条恶犬咬伤致
死。目前，警方已将狗主人刑拘。这是今年以来，遵义中心城区发生的第二起恶犬致人
死亡事件。
昨天早上，记者闻讯来到位于遵义市红花岗区老城红花岗路，在一条可通往山顶的支路
处，警方对现场实施警戒，严禁他人进出。周边的群众说，死者陈某，62岁，系遵义某
厂下岗职工，“他每天都有上山锻炼的习惯。”
在现场，记者找到了目击者、当地住户唐开杨老人。70多岁的唐开杨说，当天早上6时
，他在睡梦中被老伴叫醒，接着，他听到外面传来微弱的呼救声和一阵狗叫声。“这里
往上是山，相对偏僻，我想要么就是有人抢劫。”老唐说，随后，他拿了一把镰刀，穿
着睡衣就冲下了楼。
“沿着山路跑了150米远左右，我就看见公路边沟有条白狗在撕咬什么东西，由于有20
米远左右，看得不太清楚，但应该是个人。”老唐说，他准备拿刀过去把狗赶开，刚迈
出几步，发现前方不远处还有一条白狗，对他虎视眈眈……
“如果是一条狗，我拿着刀还有把握对付，两条狗，着实让我心虚。”老人说，这两条
狗“有狼那么大”，看上去很凶的样子。他大声喝斥，并用石块掷过去，但并未将狗赶
开。旁边群众称，他们已经拨打了报警电话和急救电话。
据当天出诊的医生说，这位被狗咬伤的老人经医院抢救无效已经去世，死者身体多处肌
肉被撕咬得只剩骨架。周边群众称，狗主人系外来户，在当地租房从事苗圃种植。这几
天，因家中有人生病，忙于照顾病人，无人在家喂狗。有网友在看了图片后认为，伤人
恶犬应为阿根廷杜高，这是一种灵活、有攻击性的犬。
昨天，红花岗区警方通过微博回复称，出警民警3次采取驾车驱赶的方式，试图驱散猎
犬未果，然后向值班局长报告此事。7时7分，值班局长赶赴现场，立即指令巡逻特警大
队、治安大队、老城派出所组织警力赶赴现场开展应急救援工作。
据初步调查，两头伤人的恶犬，系家住城区凤凰南路的男子周某所有。
记者昨晚从红花岗区警方获悉，狗主人周某因涉嫌过失致人死亡罪被刑事拘留。死者的
善后处理正在进行中。 | s****t

。。不知道会不会掀起新一轮的打狗活动。。其实这样对狗狗太不公平了。。 | z******o

are bred to hunt for wild boar but good with children at home.

还不出台政策立马严禁斗狗？抓住关监
还有好像这两只狗最后也没有被put down，搁米国警察当场就毙了吧
