harness，眼见就要适应了，当妈的又有顾虑了，这个要偶尔草地里跑跑的话pick up
跳蚤的可能性大不？考古了下，advantage/frontline貌似都有毒性，当妈的又心有不
忍呀。。。哎，想要给咪咪一个伪自由咋就这么麻烦来？ |

I have powdered the cats with DE before. They will eat some when they clean
themselves, but should be non-toxic. DE only works when dry, and probably
makes their skin dry. I stopped doing it partly because it is not very
effective partly I am lazy. I believe DE is most helpful to use in the house
or bedding once you actually have flea problems. You can try pray Neem oil
to deter the bugs, but won't prevent either and it smells like garlic. Can
also use flea comb to comb them right after a trip outside. If you dun go
outside a lot, can give them a bath, but I dun bath them either. Sorry I
have no solution here. Maybe the dog people have more tips?
The whole winter they were out on the leash, no flea, one tick once. Lately
just let them out in backyard in the evening when cooler, or go for a walk
much later at night when its cool here in California.

and cool airs, which could make it more worrisome.
I think flea comb of all your suggestions is the one I'll try first, donot
want to bath mimi that much since I guess we'll be outside a lot once she
was fully adjusted to her harness.

还有我们这各种虫子泛滥，大的小的，咬人，不咬人的， 跳蚤常年高发
我家还有个对跳蚤咬和跳蚤药都过敏的猫

Yeah i think physical removal, using the comb is the most effective, if
right after outside time, the adults have no time to lay eggs. You can dip
the comb in DE, brush and shake out any bugs in water.
Glad to hear that mimi likes her leash. We always run into (sometimes
unfriendly) dog people. It will be so cool to meet cat people on the trail.
Our neighborhood have stray cats and mine are interested but I guess that
will be another source of bugs:)

strolled mimi one day, and that cat was so scared of mimi. I guess she might
think mimi was weaponed with that huge "tank" and dangerous, she should
keep away from her lol.
I guess mimi has a long way to become as relaxed as your cat outside. But to
practice her getting familiar with the leash is kind of gaining her an
extra skill. With that she is allowed to sniff grass and enjoy the sunshine
that most indoor cats can never have. As long as she feels better, I do. :)
Guess what, she already enjoyed the harness and begged me to put it on again!

things. There is one park we go all the time and they get to know the place
really well. They will start to jump in and out of grass and start running
to familiar landmarks, pretty cool. Also I'd be bored to hell if hiking by
ourselves in those parks, but with the cats it is tolerable. I dun know
where you are at, if you could go to places with no other people, or during
early morning hours when there are less people, you really see how they
behave with the natural environment. Where I live it is near impossible but
it is also good to train them to socialize with people.
btw, which harness you have? I have the Come With Me kind but it is NOT safe
. They were able to get out of the harness a few times before.

can always stroller her to a quiet park or beach, that is our plan in the
future, hopefully not too far.
For harness, I bought two different types for her. One is H type, the other
is figure 8. I found H type harness is very good, you can adjust it as much
as you want and hard get them escape. Figure 8 is also good looking and
looks stable, but it might be dangerous because it is fully adjustable and
so when cats struggle with the chest collar they could choke themselves by
the neck collar. It looks to me that Come with me is one kind of non-
adjustable figure 8. Try this H type on Amazon:

figure 8那么可调节，应该也就不危险了吧？我看来看去，觉得come with me还不错，
那个leash也很帅的样子，就是olos说猫还是能挣脱出来，让我很苦恼啊。
另外看起来比较牢靠的就是walking jacket，比如met pet，但是我家附近居然没有零
售店，网上也全部缺货状态。。。

很容易把腿给伸进去，8型的我们现象中比较危险，但是那个chest collar的角度导致
她根本无从挣脱起，所以也就没有什么危险了，我可能没说明白，你要是能比较一下就
知道我的意思了。
你说的那个jacket我也看过，amazon上很多人说可以挣脱，因为伸腿的那个洞洞太大，
很容易缩回去。。。

到最适合他们的。
