think it would be cool to have one and you can love animals but you need to
educate yourself and be VERY sure before you go any further. Bobcats can
live 20+ years in captivity so it is nothing to be taken lightly.. That
being said, owning a Bobcat can also be very rewarding..
The first step is to contact the Fish, Wildlife and Parks in your area to
find out the regulations about owning a Bobcat where you live.. There is a
link at the bottom of the page that will help get you where you need to go..
SIZE:
Bobcats can weigh 25 to 50 pounds and grow 10 to 12 inches tall..
Males tend to be on the larger size... Altering the male will slow his
growth to some degree. Just like any animal, it is possible for bobcats to
become over weight and therefore weigh even more 50+!

就这个网站上的，他们的大猫也关笼子里，我看见的就是一个小型动物园里关着一个大
猫，多悲剧啊，人家不粘人，是在寒冷的野外生活的大猫。也许从小跟人长大，会粘人
。我看过ANIMAL PLANET 的节目，就是野外的大猫，从小被人带大，很粘人，后来放归
自然了。

发帖数: 6003 | 17 挺大的，这里的猫大部分超过13磅就是肥猫超重了，我见过25LBS的猫，就是体型大，
大爪爪是普通猫的2个大，是个英国短毛，原来就在我住的院子里，跑来跑去，不粘人。

候恐怕人类也没有这个概念）。有一点很好奇，为什么人类可以驯服大狗，却不能驯服
大猫呢？

以去看看。
usa humane society的ceo也被邀请到一个节目上讨论，究竟是否该通过联邦立法禁止
野生动物家养。目前大部分州都有这方面的法律。
野生动物家养对人和动物以及当地的生态环境都造成很大的伤害，因为大部分人都是看
到觉得威武可爱一冲动弄回去养，最后handle不了，就放弃了。
营救的过程中，如果它们袭击人类就会被当场击毙。
即使救下来了，humane society每年都要花很多钱去keep一些狮子老虎猎豹之类的，它
们也很可怜，再也不能回到野外。他们每年要put down很多猫猫狗狗就是因为没有足够
的经费。
