toilet.
(Ok, people who are REALLY against training cats to pee in the toilet...you
can stop right here and exit on your right please~~thank you very much.)
Sooo...I'd been using my own method to train my baby Java to use the "potty"
....and here's the result:
I'm going to switch him to use the real toilet in a couple of weeks...keep
you guys posted >^-^<
PS. Java was 4 months old in the video...I'm so proud of him!! Oh, he also
knows how to "play-dead" whenever I say Bang-Bang....Will post that video @

Again, i would request people holding different opinion about training cats
using toliet to hold your breath here. Rest assured we have more at stake
than you do on this.

There are many ways to train cats to use the toilet (google~~) but the only
one that made some sense to me was this one:

However...I improved the "process" to made it more "instinct" for Java...
1) When my bf and I first got Java, he was only 8 weeks old. The first
thing I did was find him a "round" litter box b/c I want him to think "
litter box is round" (I bought mine in Petco for ~$14) And I place his
litter box very closely to the guest room's toilet. |

发帖数: 235 | 16 I wanted to train Java to walk-with-leash. But I'm going to wait until he's
a bit older because I don't want to use any flea medication on him at such
a young age.
BTW - Java ALWAYS meow whenever he needs to do his business...it's like telling us "I'm a good boy...I'm using the potty!!"

发帖数: 235 | 17 When Java was 8 weeks old, I will touch/pet him when he's eating...playing w
/ his toys...and when he's doing his business...Just to let him get used to
human touch and to let him know who's the boss...Sorta like training a dog
so he won't get too territorial and aggressive. =P I think it works...
