之前问了另一个公司， 车险一年比现在要贵200...
如果用他家的话车险要800, 房子保险要800， flood insurance也要800。
每个月要交200的保险， 汗啊...

房子在flood zone 最好去county 查查有没有被flooding过的record, 不仅保险贵，
对房子的value也有不好影响。 有更理想的最好避免， 不知道flood zone 在你的区是
不是较普遍。还有保险不光比价格，好要看保险赔偿是根据新材料赔，还是根据
residual value 赔。 比如你得fence was damaged, some company will compensate
you for a brand new fence, some company might only compensate for the then
current value of the fence (not much if it's an old fence). If it's the
whole house, there's a huge difference. | l*****o

没关系... 忘记说我的是GSD了， 晕。
卖家在disclosure里写了没有water damage过， 我还没找到数据库看是不是真的没有
被淹过。
这个区中间有一条河经过，旁边全是flood zone。 确实是有房子被淹过，今年政府还
买下了5幢被淹的最严重的给拆了。
保险怎么赔倒是不太清楚呢， 还要再问问去。

发帖数: 11847 | 7 you can go to the county office asking for flood record for that particular
property. It's public info. Be careful with what you are getting into.
for the insurance, when requesting the quote, ask insurance company how they
compensate if sth is damaged, esp. by flood. they will tell you. If you
don't ask, this clause might bury in some fine prints, you probably never
find it yourself.
