In the area of Meowing, I had a cat who did more than subtle hints. My cat
Tiger, whom I had for 17 years, was adept enough at mimicking the human
voice that he could say certain one-syllable words relating to context, such
as "out", "meat", "ham", and "NOW (Said angrily)". During the last 5 years
of his life, he was able to do this. Our new cat, Neko, is pretty
