The aglaonemas are the Asian equivalents of Dumb Canes.
Found in similar habitats (the forest floor of southeast
Asian tropical rain forest) but in different continents,
these plants are grown for their foliage. Most aglaonemas do
not exceed 1 m in pots. The leaves are borne close together
on short stalks and often have silvery or cream to light
green markings along or between the side-veins.
