If you call Best Buy's Reward Zone help lines, it appears that they are
offering a free 1,000
point credit to your account in "celebration of the newly designed Reward
Zone website, which launched 9 days ago."
For how I got the deal... I called into the Premier Silver people at 1-866-
797-7367 because their website was advertising that I could get a $100.00
dollar gift certificate for having over 5,000 points banked. However, the
redemption page only displayed $95 and wanted to give them the feedback to
not advertise it if I couldn't get it.
The customer service rep asked me how I was enjoying Premier Silver status
and I gave him my thoughts and he straight out offered the 1,000 points ($20
worth of points!) because of the new website.
I'm not entirely sure if this is ONLY for Premier Silver members or if
regular members may only get 500 points but it seems like it's worth a shot
at calling!
