生活中的哪些方面可以实现最大的进步、带来最大的幸福。
我已经基本完成了年运的草稿，但是考虑到你们所说的话，我认为自己应该再多写
一点。你们提出的问题，在我社交网站上的留言，一直回绕在我的脑海中。所以，11月
份，我突然向我的团队宣布，我要为这本书扩容。我增加了章节，而且每个星座的运势
长度都在已写好的基础上翻了一倍，几乎是每月月运长度的四倍。只有你有资格评判我
所做的一切，但我认为这本仍在创作的书，是我写过的最好的一本。如果我无需每个月
写就40000字的12星座月运，那么年运的进展会顺利些，但我坚持了月运的写作。
我正在创作的这本书，在这一年的每一天都能够帮助你。我问我自己，在可以鞭策
自己写出伟大作品的时候，岂能满足于只写一本“好”书呢？现在你知道了，我是个完
美主义者，这本书是我最好的作品。虽然尚未完成，但我每天都日以继夜。这将是一本
萦绕着快乐和幸福的书，对你来说意义非凡。虽然尚未完成，但我知道十万火急。我正
竭尽全力。
现在市面上有假冒我名号出版的书籍，很多读者都留言说买错了书。你们说，读起
来真的不像我写的，所以才发现。
与此同时，你也可以订购已经完成的2012年星座日历。我精心标注了每一个重要的
日子，且用浅显易懂的语言进行了解读。我并没有在日历里使用占星术语甚至象形文字
，每件事都用门外汉也可以轻松看懂的语言描述。我知道你只是希望知道将要发生什么

为了写作年运和星座日历，为了准备讲座，我熟记了312种星盘（13个朔望月，12个
星座，每月两次月相：满月和新月）2011年4月起，我就开始准备了。我之所以要记住所

分的功课。
可能很多人都知道，2011年的夏天，我的母亲遭受了肺炎的折磨并接受重病特别护
理，随后又住进疗养院进行为期四周的物理治疗。我和妹妹每天都陪伴在她身边，向她
表达我们的爱与关心，帮她重新恢复健康。当她能够进食的时候，我们就亲手下厨做菜
。现在我妈妈已经恢复了健康，回到了家中。那些本打断放弃治疗的医生，仍震惊于这
次非凡的康复。
我并不后悔花掉陪伴母亲康复的每一分钟，尽管这确实占据了我写作的时间。她并
不是什么重要任务，却是我和妹妹依赖的人——我和妹妹齐心协力帮助母亲康复。回首
2011年，那些节日时光尤为打动人心，因为当她的四个孙儿围绕在身边，给她带来爱、
礼物和亲吻，我们看到了她蓝色的双眼闪烁出欣悦的光芒。
请原谅我，2012年的年运推迟了。
我只是觉得，将来有一天，可能没有人知道我是在何种情况下进行的2012年运写作
。人贵自立，我的书也是如此，所以我一定要把最好的作品奉献给你，尤其是在这样一
个人人都感到艰难的时代。因此，我带着发自内心的爱与感恩，写出这封声明。并真诚

Why My Book Is Late

All year I was listening hard to all that you asked me on Twitter and Facebo
ok. I realized how valiantly you were all coping with the challenges that a
difficult world economy had wrought, and how dearly you needed to know which
areas of your life would be bring you the greatest progress and happiness.
I had a manuscript almost ready, but thinking about your words, I felt I had
to add much more material to it. What you asked me and what you said on my
social networking pages kept echoing in my mind. So in November, I announced
to my team I was lengthening the book dramatically. I was adding chapters a
nd doubling each sign's chapter from what I had already written, which are n
ow almost four times as long as my regular Astrology Zone forecasts. Only yo
u can be the judge of what I have done, but I feel this book, still in progr
ess, is the best book I have ever written. It would be easier if I didn't ha
ve to stop to write 40,000 words for Astrology Zone each month, but of cours
e, I would always do that!
I set out to create a book that would help you every day of the year. Why, I
asked myself, write a good book when I could stretch and push myself to cre
ate a great one for you. By now you know I am a perfectionist. My revamped b
ook is the very best I have ever done. It is not finished yet, but I am work
ing every day around the clock on it. It will be wrapped in joy and happines
s and it will be of value to you. I have no idea when it will be done, but I
know there is great urgency. I am working every minute on it.
There are authors of books out there that pretend to be my book and many of
you have written to say you bought their book in error. You only noticed whe
n, you said, it didn't sound like me.
In the meantime, please order my calendar, The Year Ahead 2012, which is rea
dy. I carefully wrote in each important day, and all the explanations are in
easy-to-understand English. I do not use glyphs or astrological language in
my calendar; everything is explained in a crystal clear way for a layman. I
know you just want to know what is coming and how to plan for it!
Also, I will be presenting all-day talks in Philadelphia (January 21), New Y
ork City (February 4), and Los Angeles (February 11). Please scroll above to
see the information about those events. Most people find them very helpful!
To create my book and calendar, and to prepare for my talks, I memorized 312
charts (13 lunar months times 12 signs, times two lunations each month: a n
ew moon and a full moon). I started this in April. I memorize all the aspect
s because sometimes something happening in one part of the sky will influenc
e an aspect happening in another part of the sky - no aspect can be taken al
one, by itself. For example, last year, on what was to be the luckiest day o
f the year, April 6 (Jupiter conjunct the Sun), we also had Saturn opposed t
o the Sun on the same day, completely washing out the happiness of the lucki
est day of the year. I didn't even discuss it in my book - how could I? You
see how I have to be vigilant to all parts of the sky for you - you are depe
nding on me to do my homework thoroughly.
Many of you know my mother was extremely ill with pneumonia this summer and
in intensive care and then in a nursing home for physical therapy for four w
eeks. My sister and I were at her side every day to help bring her back to h
er former strong health by showing her love and attentiveness to all her med
ical matters, and when she could eat, we brought homemade meals. Little Mom
is well now. She is home, and doctors, who were ready to give up on her, can
not get over the remarkable recovery she has made.
I don't regret one minute the time I gave her to get her well again, even th
ough it did take time away from my writing. She has no one but my sister and
I to depend upon - together we worked as a team to get Little Mom well. Thi
s year the holidays were especially poignant, as we watched her blue eyes sp
arkle with delight in being with her four grandchildren, who had gathered ar
ound her at home to give her love, presents, and kisses.
Please forgive me for being late.
I feel that someday no one will know the conditions under which I wrote my b
ook. My book has to stand on its own, and that's why I need to write the ver
y best book I can for you, especially when just about everyone is feeling th
e difficulties of the times. I send you this note with great love and gratit
