The Virgo's I've interacted with are/were people who wanted to work with me
and help me reach my potential. The Virgo's in my life (4 male physicians i
work with, several co workers, two friends, two coaches; one whom became my
father figure during my HS years when I needed a strong adult male role
model in my life) all have been up front and honest with me from the start
and didn't hold any punches. They were often blunt to the point that often
it came across as criticism. But knowing the Virgo's in my life, I have
realized that they only really want to help you. So I've taken their help,
advice and wisdom and applied it to my life in most cases.
I truly believe there are good people who desire to help people from all
signs. Being a Gemini, I know we have the reputation of being a flirt and
scatter brained. Perhaps I'm not the proto type Gem, because I love to help
people. That's why I'm in the medical field. Lord knows it's not because I
make a 6 digit salary. I work long hours and try to comfort patients and put
a smile on their face. I work hard and am very motivated to do the best job
I can every day. I think because I share some similar qualities/goals as
most virgo's do, maybe that's why I can relate so well with them. In any
event, I have worked with people from all signs. Work ethic and tenacity isn
't monopolized by Virgo's...but I can't recall a Virgo I've worked with who
was lazy and not driven. I'd take them any day of the week over one of my
current co workers, a female Leo, who is lazy and thinks the world revolves
around her and her kids.
Someone posted that Virgo's are really softies on the inside. You know I
think that's probably true. I think only those closest to them see/feel this
side. I've caught glimpses of that side, but not all the way. I think the
cold, distant and in total control front Virgo's put on, especially in the
work place or when in a role of authority, is not their true nature. I think
it's a matter of comfort for them. But at the same time, I've been able to
crack them up with my sense of humor; they are truly people who appreciate
someone who can make them laugh. It definitely puts them at ease. I've
noticed if you work hard and can inject some humor in your rapport, you
automatically move a step closer to being appreciated, respected and
accepted into their heart. |
