惠誉国际评级(Fitch Ratings)将英国石油公司(BP PLC, BP, BP.LN)的评级上调3档。
该机构此前因墨西哥湾漏油事故将英国石油评级下调了数档。
英国石油的美国存托股票于盘前上涨2.6%，至38.15美元。截至周二，该股年内已累计
下跌36%。
惠誉周三将英国石油的评级上调至A，介于AAA和垃圾级之间。前景为稳定。
惠誉称，上调评级的理由是Macondo油井不再漏油。该机构还指出，英国石油潜在负债
状况可见度增强，而且目前为止其为应对潜在财务支出问题而在流动性方面取得了重大

ONDON (MarketWatch) -- Fitch Ratings on Wednesday lifted its long-term
issuer default rating on oil giant BP /quotes/comstock/23s!a:bp. (UK:BP.
413.35, +6.55, +1.61%) /quotes/comstock/13*!bp/quotes/nls/bp (BP 38.39, +
0.02, +0.05%) by three notches to A from BBB. Fitch said the upgrade
reflects an end to the threat of further leaks from the Macondo well in the
Gulf of Mexico as well as the "improved visibility of potential liability
scenarios" that the company could face. The rating agency estimated BP may
face total pending liabilities of between $35 billion and $67.5 billion. "
Fitch believes even under a high liability scenario that BP now has adequate
financial resources to meet its obligations to a degree that is
commensurate with the current credit rating category. Fitch also anticipates
access to funding will likely become progressively easier for the company
following the halt to the leak," the rating agency said.
