published Thursday. The Nikkei business daily reported that Prime Minister
Naoto Kan told reporters that "he wants to put together the stimulus package
quickly." The report said the ruling Democratic Party of Japan's policy
council will submit proposed measures as early as Thursday, which the
government will consider in drafting the new stimulus package. |
