to overthrow the tyranny of blueblueme, or should I say, Botticelli, or
whatever the spelling is. OK there is no such conspiracy. I just need more
practice typing the word conspiracy. It is so hard to put the i, r, and a in
correct order in quick succession. It became more difficulty when I use the
other computer, which is the one I take with me to classes to take notes.
My right knee is huring more and more. I seriously need to stop running for
w ahile and let it heal. But I am worried that I will get even fatter.
Somehow I am seeing a more flabby waist in the past two weeks. This morning,
I substituted a 4-mile run for a 30-minute session of cycling. But I didn't
expect that cycling wasn't good for knee at all. I feel even more pain
right now than yesterday. It seems that the only knee friendly cross
training is swimming, but I hate swimming. It takes so much preparation and
I can only do the lame and boring breaststroke.
I bought a jump rope recently and I tried it for the first time this morning
. I am very disappointed with it. It actually gave me a good exercise, but
it is just too damned heavy, even though it labeled itself as a speed rope.
I used to jump 500 singles plus 50 doubles in one set, but with this rope, I
was straining to do even 200 singles a set.
My one-month rent rebate still hasn't been issued. I am running out of cash.
At least I found out that they are still processing the rebate. I was
worried that I was not getting the rebate because I applied for school
housing too late last year. I submitted the application only a few hours
before the deadline for the one-month rebate thing. |
