发帖数: 853 | 4 B4 Xmas, we gave $50 each to two teachers. but I regret a bit that we
gave nothing to the lady at the door because my LD felt no need.
Her job is to take my son inside and helps him with his bag and other
stuff. Maybe my feeling is wrong, but do feel a bit different from her.
Will do it next time.
My friend gave $25 to 4 teachers in one class, different school though.

last time when we gave gift cards ($25) to our day care care givers, they
all gave back some gifts later. i felt maybe the owner had some rules for
this in her day care so i stopped in the following year.
i don't think it's that healthy though i heard in china it's such a common
practice.

相比之下我爸爸是高中老师, 坚决不收礼, 学生放在家门口就跑, 我爸爸楞是追下去还
给别人,
当然后来变成COMMON PRACTICE了

Anyway, I gave all 3 teachers there a GC today.
