As you know, it is 13% chance to get into money, and very very slim chance
to win big. If you can not win top 3, usually you are just burning money.
However, you have similar chance to get into money on sng. And only need
break other 9 ppl to win a decent prize(a couple of good luck). In MTT, you
need extremely luck to enter FT. And you do not know your luck on your FT
yet.
That is the difference.

without entering any FT for one month or 3 months.

KO的人头钱没算, 应该也没多少.
那把AJ我也知道自己打的烂, 这种打法没法不输. 状态也有问题.
还是从小钱小GAME慢慢来,培养好的打法, 好的习惯再去打大GAME.

也可能. 能乐在其中, 再挣点小钱, 就挺好了.
估计只有积年的老手才能保证每个月都能平稳的挣钱, 一般专门打CASH GAME 的才能做
到这一点.

melonli plays cash games a lot and said he made $22000 last year. melonli
said his friend made $100K last year. KKRUN plays tourneys and made $17000
this month. pokeryjj and ilovepoker make some decent money too.
in general, i guess for 半专业, if you can make 平均一个月 $1K+ (tourney
only), it's pretty good already. not big $$, but you make $$ from fun, :)
the above is just for online, if you play live too, a general good player
makes $20/hr in $1/2 games.

rate of about 7bb/100 hands at micor NL10 that is an average winning of less
than $2 per hour. But really cann't complain when getting paid to have fun
. :)

people who are good at both and enjoy both but in general, people who are
good at one doesn't translate into good at the other.
The more important issue is that there is alway two goals for poker game.
one is have fun and the other is make a bit of money on the side. People
usually pick a game that they are good at and could have fun with. As
soon as you make it into a job and making money is the only goal, the game

级高手，一个夏天也能downswing掉几百万。john juanda也是，去年头半年输得一塌糊
涂。
同样经费的话，tourney以小搏大，玩的时间也长。

$$ in/out from sites via any financial institution (UIGEA act).
BUT, reality is tons of ppl are still playing and winning. a few states (
like CA) are legalizing onlike poker too. and a few others rule poker is a
game of skills, therefore UIGEA should not ban it.
since it's gray now, and all sites are NOT u.s. based, they don't send you
any tax forms or report to IRS.
BUT, officially, IRS requires everyone to report any

said he's not having fun at all
i will never consider poker a way to make a living, i can be on my A game
for 2 hours, after that it goes downhill. for me i play in small blinds
