dealt 3s3c at SB ($450), UTG, a loose guy who only got $100 left and was
ready to lose all and leave, raised to $6, everybody folded to button ($400)
, who called, i called.
flop: Jd3d8s.
nice! checked, without surprise, UTG raised to $40, button (nervous asian
guy, about normal image) hesitated for a sec and called.
what should i do here? i knew UTG hit a Jx hand and i was not worried about
him at all, his stack was a done deal. | i********r 发帖数: 1153 | 2 something around $200

| i********r 发帖数: 1153 | 4 i want to bet a large amount to charge the draw, build up a pot to commit my
self. i don't think the asian guy got you beat if he called pretty quickly,
because if he did have a better hand he got to evaluate the situation a litt
le bit more, trying to figure out which way was the best to get your money i
n as well. i put him on a combo draw and i got to raise big to make him call
incorrectly.

| f*****g 发帖数: 15860 | 5 i knew he's on a diamond flush draw for sure. i did raise $125 on top ($165
total for a ~$100 pot) to kick him out. i guess he knew what i had as well..
. but he took a minute and then called.
damn, Kd on the turn, i checked AND he CHECKED!!!!!! i had to shake my head
left and right, what a greedy donk! he was still naively expecting i didn't
know what he had and bet some more on the river!!!
river was a blank, i checked and he nervously said "errrr, i'mmmmm all-in...".
i turned my cards face up

a hand.
2 weeks ago at our table, pot was about $200 with one guy all-in. on a
Ad9d8c flop, one black aggressive regular (got $1000 left) jumped out of his
seat, shouted at the other asian guy ($700) who's still thinking, "this is
NOT a f**king hand you can call, call, then you're a dead fish!" ... banging
his two full stacks on the table, "you want to see?!! here i show you..."
turning over A9o for top two... "call, ca

| i********r 发帖数: 1153 | 7 your sizing is fine but i will probably make it bigger because he may have
a combo draw like flush+pair+overcard or flush+straight. if you raise up to
165, he need to call 125 for 20+40+40+40=140 pot, put implied odds into cons
ideration his call is not that bad.
you have to realize you make money by making ppl call you with wrong odds. y
eah it sucks when they hit and you pay them off, but in the long run, you st
ill make money if they keep calling.

for long run, you really need a large sample size to balance.
but you know what? now i remember many hands like this when i was on the
right side when i first started, indeed gave a lot of ppl heart attacks, lol
, fair enough.
