according to the Investment Company Institute.
But foreign stock funds had net inflows of more than $2.2 billion, a jump
from the previous week’s $1.8 billion.
Domestic equity funds, by contrast, had outflows of $2.4 billion. That was
down from the prior week’s $2.7 billion.
Total bond fund outflows surged past $8.6 billion, up from $1.7 billion a
week earlier.
Most of that came from municipal bond funds, which had outflows of $4.9
billion — much more than a week prior when investors pulled a net $1.3
billion out.
Meanwhile, taxable bond funds had outflows of $3.8 billion, also
significantly up from the previous week’s $403 million loss.
