J. Crew Group, Inc. Lowers FY 2010 EPS Guidance; Issues Q3 2010 EPS Guidance

J. Crew Group, Inc. announced that for fiscal 2010 it currently expects
diluted earnings per share (EPS) in the
range of $2.25 to $2.35, which includes a benefit of $0.03 for recognition
of forfeited share-based awards
from the resignation of its President of Retail and Direct, as compared to
its previous guidance range of $2.35
to $2.45 and fiscal 2009 diluted EPS of $1.91. For the third quarter of 2010
the Company expects diluted EPS
in the range of $0.55 to $0.60. According to Reuters Estimates, analysts
were expecting the Company to
report EPS of $2.46 for fiscal 2010; EPS of $0.71 for the third quarter of
2010.
