sounds pathetic but that seems to be the easy way. i know some parents in PA
can provide some good insider info besides these superficial data..
just from the "hard data", it seems LA(MtnView)/PA looks better:

schools than PA. PA's Pupil Expenditure looks higher than other school
district, because we have very higher parcel tax, many many parents
volunteer and parent contribution (PIE). Also race in this list doesn't
present for entire school, only show kids took STAR test from 2nd grade up,

LASD founded Gardner elementary at LAH in 2008, kids living north part of
LAH have choice to attend either PAUSD or LASD for K-8. Many kids were
former PA students and moved to LASD for elementary schools and middle
school, back to Gunn for high school. I live near Briones Park, since our
neighbor schools are not good, some of my neighborhood kids go to LASD by
applying Bullis charter school or Egan Middle for elementary a
