when economy is good, there are some jobs for h1b
when economy is bad, the only jobs left are for citizen with security
clearance. very frustrating sometime
all I am hoping now is the national ignition facility can be succssful, then
we may see a revolution in energy industry and this time optics will play a
major role

Actually, compared with other engineering field, such as EE or CS, the
optics engineer earn less. Do you guys agree? | b****y
