Pitchfork: Are there other songs on the album that explore hate?
MS: I feel like the record is about that love/hate spectrum. “Sprinter" is
definitely about my love and appreciation for my upbringing, but also my
desire to run away. I was raised in the Baptist Church in Georgia. My
parents are very sweet, churchgoing people. They’re content in that; I wasn
’t.
