Send to Kindle Pushes Web Articles from Chrome to Your Kindle
Arvin Dang — Chrome: If you prefer spending more time reading on your
Kindle than in your browser, you
can quickly push content from your browser to your Kindle with Chrome
extension Send to Kindle.
Think of it like Chrome to Phone (or Chrome to iPhone) for your Kindle,
minimizing what used to be a multi-
step task into a single click. Instead of relying on Instapaper as the
middle-man to sync articles, Send to Kindle
syncs the article of your choice immediately.
To get it to work, Kindle users first need to enter their Kindle's
registered email into the extension, then add
k****[email protected] as an approved sender under Amazon's Kindle management page
and add your Kindle's email
address to the extension settings. Once you're done, clicking the extension'
s icon will give you a live preview
of how the article will appear on your Kindle and provide you with a "Send"
button that will send it to your
Kindle. Just make sure Wi-Fi or your Whispernet connection is activated on
your device so it has no trouble
getting there.
