Took lele to the school district's free baseball clinic yesterday. Wow, like
the whole town came out to the high school's vasity field.
They divided kids based on each age group 7-14. 10 groups rotate through the
10 clinic stations - base running, fielding, pitching, catching, bat
holding, hitting, bunting, tball, coach pitched low ball, and fenced coach
pitched high ball. Each station has 4 coaches (3 are handsome vasity team
kids) to teach the 20 kids. 1.5 hr scheduled clinic acturally lasted over 2
hours.
Since this is the first time lele joining their tball league, we ignored the
fact he is 6 and took advantage of this free clinic. Of cause he is the
smallest and weakest player in the 7's team. But after a few tries, he could
catch and hit the coach pitched ball occasionally. :-)
So it turned to be the smart decision. ld and i finally agreed that we see a
little bit of our 14k tax dollars went. Now everything we learned from the
previous 2 hours coach clinic started to make a little sense. We immediately
bought him a T ball bat and a T ball helmet.
Lele and i also practiced a few minutes in the front yard. Then I realized I
am so bad at it. Decided to go to all the rest 3 free clinics and throw
lele to the coaches le. | i****c

year and last year le. ;-)

but i am ok la. i am a soccer fan, 9 let him play soccer all year round le,
if he can get into travel team next year.

also need to learn how to play baseball so later can play in college and at
work too. feel so good to see college kids throw/catch baseball on grass
everywhere on campus
