发帖数: 166 | 3 just those major comercial softwares: maya, renderman, premiere,
aftereffect...as long as they don't require special hardwares, i'd like to
get my hands dirty. i'm not a modeling and animation person, but simulation,
rendering and editing power are definitely my goal.
for 3d games, i'm not a big fun, but my roomates is,hehe.
do you know what kinda of motherboard supports Gforce4?

GeForce4 Ti4600. Currently, ATi 9700....
get large and fast memory... CPU with big cache.
For motherboad, as long as it is OK for AGP4, I think it will be OK which
Geforce 4 card.
By the waym how much is yoru budget

发帖数: 474 | 7 DDR is twice faster than the SDRAM with same bus speed.
also teh CPU cache. if you need to access alot of memory, big cache will
lower the cache miss and improve the speed alot.
