While announcing a new sales forecast that falls far short of previous
targets, Cisco Systems (CSCO) CEO John Chambers on Tuesday promised an
aggressive stance toward his competitors and added that he recently agreed
to stay on the job another three years.
"We are completely in synch," Chambers said of the company's board of
directors and top management, shortly after reporting that Cisco expects
revenue to grow at an annual rate of 5 to 7 percent over the next three
years, or substantially less than the 12 to 17 percent target that Chambers
has outlined in the past. | r***u
