但是在今年看过的film里,还是这部最好(嗯,给菠菜记小勋章一枚)
导演Michael Moore其貌不扬,但是他的东东的确不同凡响
以后要找他的stupid white man和roger and me来看看
Bowling for Columbine从1999年columbine high school枪杀事件入手
230 | 2 Just saw the film at the docfilm tonight. I dare not say it's a good
movie, but it definitely is worth to be watched at least once. It's
billed as a documentary, but not entirely so. The thing is, director
Michael Moore blames the media for showing us very biased information,
but he isn't any better. The truth is probably somewhere in between.
By the way, I found the part of him bringing two victoms of Columbine
to K-mart store and try to return the bullet buried in them extremely
insensitive an

"a history of america" on the movie's website
www.bowlingforcolumbine.com
and the clips of marilyn manson and matt stones.
pretty interesting. too bad baltimore is not showing it any more.
although i haven't seen it, i think the director at least did a
good job of bringing the topic to people;s attention and make
them think.

| t***u 发帖数: 230 | 7 Doc is always refreshing, and especially hard to find in large-scale
release, so I think this one is worth checking out. Don't see it for
the movie aspect though, because his editing is just plainly amateurish.
Some facts are a lot more interesting then the message he's selling.
Question is interesting too, though not a huge surprise to non-american
people.

a lady come out in the end and told them that kmart won't be selling any
amunitions starting 90 days from then? i think that's a very useful thing
to start with.
i guess i was looking forward too much to this movie and have seen and
heard too much about it to feel satisfied in the end. I felt that Michael
Moore was consciously or unconsciously steering people away from some
major questions and focusing on some secondary iss

| t***u 发帖数: 230 | 10 Well, the three things I have against this doc are:
1. Editing, editing, editing!
Please, Michael Moore, edit your film; don't just show us some random
meaningless shots. String them together, control your pace, and make them
more powerful.
2. Michael Moore is unbelievably rude sometimes.
Especially when he was interviewing Charles Heston. Not that I like
Charles Heston, I mean, he's just a pretty face with a huge ego. Say,
which one of you would ever put your own name on every piece of furnitur

rude (and they were pointless rudeness). he should have gotten a sociologist
on his team. and a statistician, hoho.

| d***e 发帖数: 710 | 13 in fact before i watched this movie i didn't know that you can easily
get a gun in these other safer countries
especially canada.7million guns in 10 million families. why don't they have
gun homicides? don't know about european countries, i doubt guns are as
prevalent there as in north america coz people are more urban. don't u think
having less guns to begin with can be helpful. like there are murders in china
but rarely involves gun. and there's a long way to go before we have high
school shoo
