the film was beautifully shot, but I doubt if i caught
every twist of the plot.

1. Ed blackmailed big dave about his affair and gave the
money to the dry cleaning pansy (what's pansy by the way?)
2. big dave found out and beat dead the pansy and got
back the money (when was the pansy killed? it seemed
that big dave didn't kill him at the time he asked him

pansy就是骗钱的人吧, 既然你上面已经说了是spoiler, 干脆
spoil它到底, 电影里有一段很可爱, Ed紧张地拿着钱找那个pansy
去签约的时候, pansy其实更紧张, 一直拿小手绢儿擦汗, 最后看出
来Ed还真是那种一千年也遇不到一个的性情敦厚的人, 突然开始跟
他挤眉弄眼, Ed吓了一大跳, 问说"Is that a come-on?", pansy
点点头再色迷迷地朝他笑, Ed马上说, "That's out of the line.."
只是几句对话而已, 两个人表情的默挈却有整个一个罗曼史那么多.
Big Dave要是只是把pansy打了一顿就拿回了钱就没有什么麻烦了,
也不会看着Ed就恨不得把他掐死. 当然掐死的意思还是有的, 不过
他对着Ed把脸埋在手里不断地说 "I'm ruined, I'm ruined", 明显
是有身处绝境的失落.
hehe...还算是黑色喜剧里无端的幽默吧, 不然Ed也不会半夜走出监狱
看到UFO又自己跑回来, 他们的律师也不会不分青红皂白开始给每个人
扣帽子. 警察叔叔们只是说她有动机, 就是她改了Big Dave商店的

I think dave's wife mentioned that in a night when she visit Ed.
that's a weird part too.she said dave was killed by secret agency
cos they saw UFO
hehe.that's the a reason the lawyer try to prove dave is a lier
he lie about his war,so he also lie about the account
forget the detail le.but it is a perfect setup
that all the facts point to Ed,while he can say nothing just like his wife
hehe.really an excellen screenplay
this one is just saying everything is posible

Yeah that was a great bit ...
en, makes sense ... but didn't he had an encounter with the
pansy? in fact, why don't we look at that script your friend
bought?
i missed almost everything about the book. book 是不是就是帐本
really? the policemen were pretty dumb then... i thought they considered
the two murders irrelevant.
oh, i thought the police knew about the affair ... so they don't. their
only reasoning was the company book. so in the end, the affair was still
kept among the three of them.

"all the facts"? i thought only the contract the pansy had...
the police doesn't know that the 10K$ was from Dave, they
don't know about the affair...
