Chris Webber denies that he asked to be traded during a meeting with Sixers
president Billy King on Thursday, ESPN reported. Webber's claim conflicts
with a report in the Sacramento Bee on Friday that he had indeed wanted out
of Philadelphia.
Our View
Frankly, a trade would probably would have been a good thing for C-Webb,
whose numbers are down in virtually every statistical category this season.
Webber is upset about being repeatedly benched in the fourth quarter by
