w*******y 发帖数: 60932 | 1 I'm going on a little shopping spree today... to buy anything I may need in
the next couple of years in regards to over-the-counter medication (
including aspirin, cough drops, coughing medicine, rubbing alcohol, nasal
sprays, etc).
Today, Dec 31, is the last day to use HSA on over-the-counter medications.
After today, you have to have a prescription to use any HSA on these
medications (though you can still use it on bandages, crutches, etc.
Here's a helpful list:

(not my insurance company, just an accurate portrayal of what is included).
After today, this thread should be moved to the Deal Talk, and out Hot Deals.
If you do not have an FSA or HSA, this post is not for you. I'm just trying
to help others with an HSA make the most of it. This is in regards to pre-
tax contributions to your own Health Savings Account. The limitations for
2011 are in respect to the new Health Care law--as much as I don't agree
with it, there will be NO political debates or remarks made in this thread.
Have a happy and safe New Year!!
