benefit and appreciate it.
I was looking for an adult trike for a family member with physical
limitations and found a pretty good price for this Schwinn Meridian at
Amazon and Walmart.com for $200 with FSSS at Amazon and Free-Ship-to-Store
for Walmart. The retail price for this trike seems to be usually $250 to $
399 at Walmart.com and Amazon, respectively. If you've done any searching
for trikes online, you'll notice they typically cost $400 - $1000.
Adult trikes often have smaller wheels which I think make them look a little
goofy, but this one has full size 26" wheels, and it has nice cruiser
styling with fenders. The reviews on this trike are pretty good, people said
its very sturdy and fun to ride. The only complaint on the reviews is that
a few people had trouble putting it together. It is a single speed, I would
have preferred a 3 speed, but the price of this trike made me jump for it.
This is perfect for a family member of mine who wants a bike, but is just
not quite in good enough physical condition to have a two wheeler-- so I was
stoked to find it at such a good price. This would be perfect for senior
citizens, disabled adults or adolescents (or kids, probably), or just anyone
who wants a nice leisurely cruiser! Plus, it has a basket on back so it may
work well for some who want to use it to get groceries or carry tools or
dogs or whatever. I've seen (non-disabled) college students on campus riding
these, so I think they're definitely for anyone!
