FAQ - Visa Signature Codes
This thread is STUPID! Codes run out in minutes and people keep hoarding
them! -Thumbs DOWN-
No no no! is meant to let as many people know about discounts, which is
the purpose of this thread. Also, people who think that never bother to
stick around this thread - many loyal s give out codes on this thread, so
just be polite, patient, positive, and ask!!
Then do you have tips on how to get a darn code??
Not me specifically. I epically fail at getting codes. However, zodiac711
has allowed me to post his following tips:
"Be prepared a few minutes *BEFORE* the thing starts and keep refreshing.
Have your CC # out and ready to go (and in my case, almost fully memorized)
Be a fast & accurate typer
Have a fast Internet connection"
Please also note that tenken states that the page automatically changes when
the time is up, so you may not need to refresh like a maniac. I'll confirm
this on 12/12 unless someone else confirms before.
Lastly one suggestion I have for the slower typers or people who cannot
memorize their cards - open up two windows side by side, one with the site
and another with your code, and copy and paste it by groups of four. This
may help our less tech savvy s.
Does my Visa qualify for this? It doesn't say signature!

However, some cards will work even if it doesn't say signature - this may be
due to a recent switch on your card to give signature benefits to
cardholders, and the design is just outdated. The best bet would be to call
the number on the back of your card and ask! Either way, it doesn't hurt
to wait until 9AM PST and try entering it in!
Where do I enter these codes???
You enter them after going to Amazon and choose the specified code item and
check it out. During checkout, there is a promotional code slot where you
can enter it, and the savings will be updated. (And if you're asking me
this, that means you didn't read the first few sentences on this post..
shame on YOU!)
Do codes stack? As in, if I have a wii code from yesterday and get one
today, can I get $100 off instead of $50?
Yes. It's been confirmed by zodiac711who was able to stack two wii console
codes to get one for $100 total.
I entered my code, but then realized I don't need it anymore.. how do I get
it back so I can give it to someone else?
Ah.. unfortunately, you CAN'T. There is currently no way to retract codes
that have already been redeemed, so make sure you're careful when you decide
to enter them!
I lost/mistyped my code and it won't work! Does Visa save these codes?
Nope, unfortunately they do not.. there's nothing you can do if you lose it.
I suggest waiting for the next day or asking for a kind to give out one.
Can I ask for codes/trade my codes on this thread?
Yes. Just try to keep spam to the minimum please, and only do so AFTER all
the coupons have ran out.
Can I buy codes off people?
NO. That's against SD's rules and regulations - however, you can trade
codes/coupons from other sites up to a $5 value.
