I know that the black friday "deals" for apple have been posted separately,
as has the thread for the ultimate rewards 8% cash back from Chase Freedom
and Sapphire credit card owners. I thought it important to post this
separately because the macbook air isn't this cheap anywhere else and it
actually led me to splure.
It's starting at $1198 right now with the Black Friday $101 off. Add tax,
then multiply by .92 and you get your final amount with the 8% cash back for
your computer. This comes out to around $1100 BEFORE tax.
Furthermore, you can get a rebate of $100 on any printer when you buy a mac-
-so if you buy any of those that are $100, you get it free. You also get
the 8% off cash back on that as well. So if you choose to do that, this is
how it works out, at least for me:
$1298 (with printer) x 1.06% (tax in Scranton) x 0.92= ~$1257 after you get
your cash back on Ultimate rewards MINUS $100 rebate= $1157 total.
