To get maximum results from the sound-reducing feature of the Whisper Deluxe
and Whisper VH, lead pellets should be used. The included PBA Raptor ammo
will result in higher speeds and will be quieter than when fired from
standard models. However, it will still produce a cracking sound due to the
pellet raveling at supersonic speeds.

I own one of these, paid full price 2 years ago. I bought it because it is
an excellent Varmit Getter for those bastages eating produce from my garden.
The muzzle has a built in silencer. Sure you still hear it, but all your
neighbor will hear is something similar to the noise a compressed air nail
gun will make. Trust me, no Soda can will be safe.
If you use the PBA ammo, which is pricey you can get the full power of this
gun. 1200 PSI is nothing to laugh at sure there are more powerful guns out
there, but none feature the built in silencer. Very Few include a scope.
I have taught my nephews how to shoot, and gun safety with mine, and will be
buying one under this deal so they have their own when they are shooting at
my house.
