NewsgroupDirect is offering completely free accounts for the next couple
days. They offered them regularly a couple of years back but they haven't
been seen in a while.
Free accounts are limited to 1 GB per month and 4 connections. But it does
have the full retention of their unlimited plans. It's always hard to argue
with free, so this would make a great backup or fill server for anyone with
a plan from someone other than NGD. You don't even have to enter a credit
card to signup.
