Is that an xbox 360? Nope, it's a Dell GX280. Six year old computer and don'
t bother mentioning games unless you want to install an AGP video card. (
that said, I used to play Half Life 2 on this CPU and a Radeon 9600 Pro
years ago)
This is not for most people except for those who are on an extremely tight
budget and need a computer for K-12 school. I bought five for my 9th grade
classroom. Will install OpenOffice and hope to get cheap AGP video cards
sometime soon. Currently already have five P4 systems running Linux 10,
quite stable.
Pentium 4 3.0ghz, 512MB RAM, 40GB HDD, Windows XP.
The biggest obstacle to upgrading for these machines is difficulty of
finding inexpensive AGP video cards. Would appreciate any suggestions if
anyone knows of a good source (ebay is actually quite expensive and
difficult to filter out unless you know of a specific model....
unfortunately, the only models I remember were gaming ones and they are not
necessary in a school computer.)
