including at Lenovo outlet. I bought this today and think it was a sweet
deal; list price is $2560, so about 57% off. I never saw anything
comparable at Lenovo outlet, even for refurbs. Here's what I did:
1. Sign up for Lenovo's newsletter here Link:

. You will get an email with a 10% off code (mine took a few days).
2. Go to the Barnes & Noble Gold site and sign in or create and account here

. This link gives you 15% off, including sale prices.
3. Navigate to the W520 workstations. In the left column you will see the
web special for $1232, which is the configuration I got, but it can be
customized.
4. Apply your emailed 10% off code at checkout, dropping the price to $1108.
There is a 10% off code shown on the B&N Gold initial page, but that doesn
't seem to work.
5. I then called and got a sales rep to throw in a HDD bay adapter #43N3412,
(a $60 bonus!), and completed the transaction by phone. My rep was Gloria,
ID QY2.
I'm not sure how long this deal will last, so you might want to try getting
the extra 10% by phone instead of waiting for the email code.

I hope this is a good deal...what do you think? The minor bummer for me is
the 5400rpm drive; you can order it with a 7200rpm for +$25.50, but delivery
is 4+ weeks.
