Received a postcard in the mail with a promo code for Free Federal e-File
and $4.95 for each State e-File
This is only available for people who have not used taxslayer.com to file
their 2010 Tax returns last year.
go to Taxslayer.com and click Sign in->"Start for Free"
Below the form to enter personal details you will see a link to "Received a
postcard code? Click Here." .
Enter "FEDERAL12" in the promo code box and continue filing you tax return.
In the penultimate screen just before you pay for your filing fee you will
see that the price has dropped from $14.90 to $4.95 for both Federal and one
State e-Filing .
(Dont be alarmed if you see $14.90 in the previous screens. You have to
continue to the last step to see the promo price)
I have used Taxslayer.com for years and have always received the best
service. I hope more people are able to take advantage of this.
