price, but I have taken it all the way to payment options. So YMMV for now.
Browsing on Target.com I noticed a special offer under the new $149.99 price
of the red 3ds that says buy one, get one 50% off. Look under the price on
the right of the product page (here:
http://www.target.com/p/Nintendo-3DS-Flame-Red-Nintendo-3DS/-/A
). The offer does not show up under blue or black consoles but it works
for them as well, not for bundles (where did the pink one go!). Given this
is not in their weekly ad that I could see, this may be online only.
Put two in your cart of any color combination and you will see a $75
promotional discount before the pre-tax total of $225 or $112.50 each. Save
5% with redcard to get it down to $106.88 each before tax and shipping (
which should be free).
Of course, this is not a good deal if you only need one, but maybe you
actually have real friends or family to share with . Bonus is there are no
gift cards to deal with.
Personally, I have already bought two for presents during TRU and BB gift
card sales the other week. Gift cards are already spent and this is only
about $10 better so not worth it to me.
