First slickdeals posting - go easy on me ;-)
At Best Buy last night in Colorado Springs an associate was busy bringing
out a bunch of new open box items and relabeling all the ones already on the
shelves. He explained they were making space for black Friday inventory so
open box items (normally 20% off best sale price of new) were being
clearanced at 50% off.
We picked up a Samsung UN55C8000XF - 55" Class (54.6" Diag.) 8000 Series 3D
1080p LED HDTV with stand and remote (open box) for $750. The receipt showed
a $2000 clearance discount from the 'regular' price of $3499.99. This was
Samsung's flagship model for 2010, but has some truly impressive specs and
great reviews.
Of course this is totally YMMV but even with the Black Friday leaks I haven'
t seen any kind of name brand 3d tv of this size for that kind of money.
