Anyway, I've been looking for a snow blower and found that the MTD Pro 277cc
28 inch Snow blower is on sale at Home Depot for $599.
It is last year's model which retailed for $1100 and has been on sale
recently for $799, but was just reduced to $599 for closeout. My local
Sears, Kmart, and a couple others are still selling this for anywhere from $
950 - $1100 and the cheapest I could find online was $750 refurbished. So I
feel like $599 new is a great deal. It's hard to find anything with near
that big of engine and 28" wide for that cheap. My local store had 5 in
stock, but they aren't listed online at all anymore so I can't find a link
to check inventory.
MTD is the company that makes Craftsman, Troy Bilt, Cub Cadet, Yard Machines
, and a couple other snow blower brands FYI. It's not an Ariens or anything
, but it's a decent machine regardless.
