I can confirm that the drive inside of this enclosure is a 7200rpm drive as
I purchased one in store today, ripped it apart and installed the drive as a
second internal hard drive in my 13" Macbook Pro.
This is also a better deal than the WD 750GB drive at Best Buy as this
enclosure uses a standard 2.5" drive with SATA connector, not a soldiered on
USB board.
The drive is no longer available for delivery off the website (as of tonight
) but my local stores had plenty of units in stock at the clearance price.
