First post, not sure if this is a super deal, but I got 500.
Basically: $5.49 per box of 20 cartridges, cases are 500 cartridges each,
shipping is $12/1000 cartridges.
No sales tax charged.
Some basic math for this deal:
500 round case = 25 boxes of 20 cartridges each. @ $12 S&H, the total comes
to $149.25, or about $0.29/round (this is what I was charged)
1000 round (two 500 round cases) = 50 boxes of 20 cartridges each. @ $12 S&
H, the total comes out to $286.50, or about $0.28/per round.
Either way, it's a pretty solid deal on the 5.56mm cartridge. Military
quality, manufactured at Lake City Army Ammunition Plant, and sold through
the Federal Cartridge Company.
