Convenient to Interstate 95, Pohick Bay Regional Park is 22 miles from
Washington, D.C. and 11 miles from Mount Vernon. Mason Neck State Park,
Mason Neck National Wildlife Refuge and Gunston Hall Plantation are Pohick
Bay's neighbors on the peninsula. A network of trails leads walkers to the
waterfront. A one-mile trail connects the family campground to Gunston Hall
Plantation, home of George Mason.
Information & Restrictions
Certificate is good for one 2-Night Rustic Cabin Rental at either Bull Run
or Pohick Bay Regional Park. Cabins are heated and available all winter
long!
Certificate can be used during the week or on the weekend, subject to
availability. Must be used on 2 consecutive nights.
Expires March 31, 2012.
Cabin Details: Each rustic cabin has electricity, ac/heat, a small
refrigerator and two rooms. The back room has a double bed and a set of bunk
beds. The front room has a futon, table, two chairs and a microwave.
Outside is a front porch with a swing, outside grill, fire pit and a picnic
table. The bathhouse is a short walk on a trail. Cabin guests bring their
own bedding. Limit of 6 people per cabin.
Check-In Time is 1pm. Check-Out Time is 11am.
Park Authority Rules apply to the conduct within all NVRPA campgrounds.
Limit 2 Certificates per family.
