I posted this deal in the 60 inch Westinghouse thread - and for the sake of
not de-railing that thread, I'm posting my own. I've probably received 15
PM's asking for details on this. Don't get mad at me if this doesn't work
out for you. This is probably the most extreme YMMV out there. But I'm
trying to help those who have PM'd me and hopefully someone could possibly
strike the same deal. I doubt any of you will, but I just want my PM inbox
to stop getting flooded with requests
I went into Sears and found a 55 inch Samsung LED TV for $518 after tax.
The model number is UN55C6500VF and the sales person said it was marked down
due to the model being 'discontinued.' That's all he said, and the store
only had 1 of these left on the shelf, and of course, I snagged it. I
purchased this last Wednesday and it was brand new in box. They were also
selling the floor model for under $400. I have no idea why, but that's just
how it was when I went in there.
As we already know with Sears, YMMV is always present. But hopefully
someone else can get lucky.
