sale. I got an e-mail from them today that they have some open box units for
$69 plus tax and shipping. I realize a lot of folks aren't interested in
paying this much for cooking thermometers, but as an owner of a now-dead
Thermapen (pre-splash proof version... kids ran it through the dishwasher...
), I've been waiting to have an opportunity to get another one at less than
the regular $89 plus tax/shipping price. This is the top-rated thermometer
by Cooks Illustrated, and is remarkably fast and accurate.
