I checked and it looks like it's available for new customers and for
upgrades with a contract. The phone only with no contract is $489.99.
I think this is a great deal to get a nice phone. And if you get it today
you can still take advantage of the Verizon unlimited data plan ($30/mo).
Before they change to the tiered plan starting tomorrow.
And another thing, there's no tax on it. If you upgraded through Verizon,
you would have to pay tax on the full price ($500+) of the phone. So it'll
save you some more money.
I was going to upgrade through Verizon and it was $49 with a $100 credit.
Then you had to add tax.
If you have issues, you have to deal with Amazon Wireless. So if you want
the ability to go into the store, you would have to pay the premium (upgrade
cost ($150+tax).
