I believe this is a pretty slick deal on last year's flagship model. It
looks to be a very competent gaming and multimedia machine, though reviews
are somewhat inconsistent. The next lowest price I found, from a reputable
dealer, was $1346.99 shipped from Amazon.
Pros: A ton of features for this price point, former top of the line model,
very powerful GPU, gorgeous 1080p screen, bluray, 2 batteries, some glowing
reviews
Cons: Older model, relatively poor battery life, not Sandy Bridge, no
7200RPM HD, no dual channel RAM (I would recommend buying a 4GB DIMM. They'
re very easy to install.), some poor reviews - typically citing instability
and the controversial touchpad
