reduces moisture content to about 7%, giving it a longer shelf life than
cake yeast. When rehydrated, it provides ultimate baking activity in all
yeast dough, low sugar to highly sweetened breads.
If you have a bread maker and bake a lot, store prices for 4 oz jars are
from $3 -$6. This way its $1.10.
With this 32 oz / 2 pounds package you can save a lot of money on yeast.
Just put the package in the refrigerator and it ll stay fresh for a year.

....and try this Foccacia bread recipe:
1 1/2 cups of water
1 tsp of honey
2 1/2 tsp of salt
1/2 cup of wheat flour
3 1/2 cups of bread flour
2 tsp of yeast
insert ingridients according to your bread maschine orders.
1 select artisan dough cycle
2 complete cycle
3 Punch down dough and knead dough on floured surface
4 let dough rest for 10 minutes
5 Divide dough into two equal portions and place on floured baking sheet
6 brush with olive oil
7 indent dough with fingertips in one inch intervals
8 let sit for 45 minutes until double
9 indent dough again with fingertips than sprinkle garlic, pepper, dried
parsley and a little bit of rosemary on top.
10 Bake at 425 F for 20 to 25 minutes.
you can use less salt and more honey for a more American version.
